Legacy Interactive announces today that The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, their top selling downloadable game for the PC, is now available at retail as a hybrid CD-ROM for the PC and Mac. The game will also be available as a Mac download at gametreeonline.com. TransGaming, Inc. (TSX-V: TNG) made the game Mac compatible using their Cider Portability Engine.

The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes is available for purchase across the U.S. and Canada at retailers including Best Buy, Fry's and online at Amazon.com for $19⁹⁵. The Mac downloadable version of the game is available at GameTree Online.

Electronic Arts and Maxis have announced that the complete retail version of the Spore Creature Creator will be available starting June 17, 2008. The Spore Creature Creator gives Spore fans, and those who are creatively curious, the first hands-on opportunity to design their own species and share it with their friends.

All creatures designed with the Spore Creature Creator can be imported into the full retail version of Spore for PC and Mac when it launches on September 5, 2008 in Europe and September 7, 2008 in North America.

D3Publisher has announced the winning entry in its recent competition to name the first Puzzle Quest XBLA expansion.

More than 500 people came up with suggestions, but in the end D3 went for Revenge of the Plague Lord. Runner-ups were Sorceress of Malbec and The Scourge of Antharg.
